C Study a) Introduce the title of the song. b) Pre listening activity. Match the words and idioms with their definitions. (telling the learners that these are the words they are going to find in the song) c) Discussion about the vocabulary. d) Hand out the cloze activity sheets and play the song and tell them to compare their cloze activity with their partners. e) Ask them about the pronunciation and meanings of the words and the idioms and ask them in what context they are used. f) Tell them about the pronunciation and the usages of the word and the idioms. g) Guide them to the expressions for travel (I always travel in …., We checked in our hotel…, It’s a long journey…, gone on a trip to seaside…,) Activate a) Have them write 5 questions to about travel and latest vacation of their partner. Then the partner answers the questions. b) Check for errors and do cold correction afterwords if required. c) Assign roles to everybody and tell them to mingle with each other on a vacation party on a beach. Tell them to use the new learned idioms and the vocabulary with proper pronunciation.
