Betting game (Present Simple and Present Continuous)
Students read the sentences and correct the wrong ones. Then the teacher tells the students that they have $100 and they can increase the sum by betting. They bet on each of the sentences (the minimum bit entered is 5$). If they corrected the sentence in a right way (or identified it as a right one), the bit entered is doubled. If not, they lose money.
At the end of the game the students count their tally and see whose profit made is the largest.
