The Climb John Escott
An activity for pre intermediate students based on the characters and background elements from the graded reading The Climb by John Escott, Penguin Readers Level 3, Longman Pearson. It has been designed as an after-reading activity. Students have to match the names of the characters and the background elements in the story with the appropriate information provided in the short story; the tense used is Past Simple. Then they have to write 10 sentences using relative pronouns.
