English worksheet: Literary Connections in Literary Connections in "Down" and "Romeo and Juliet

“Down” contains several literary devices in each stanza that students of all learning levels can identify. If you feel that certain sections of the song are inappropriate, these sections can be faded out while students are listening to the song. Simply turn down the volume. The lyrics contain *** in the section where inappropriate words appear. Assignment: After hearing the song, “Down” underline, write down, or discuss the literary devices.
