Present continuous
This activity-card is to be used to practice PRESENT CONTINUOUS with energetic kids and teens. You should place one of them on a wall and another one on the wall facing the other one. You may want to use Scotch tape to do so.
The walls should be at the end of a hall because Ss are supposed to run to it. Divide the Ss in two groups and ask them to select a secretary. The secretary stays in the classroom to write down WHAT THe PEOPLE ARE DOING in the picture. The remaining Ss will form a line and the 1st of each team will run to the end of the hallway, look at 1 picture only, memorize, come back and tell the secretary to write it down. This S goes to the end of the line and the next one runs and does the same until they see all the pictures. You may want to draw and "X" on some pictures so that they can also practice the negative form.
