Modernise the fable "The Ant and the Grasshopper"
you will need to access a version of The Ant and the GRasshopper for this exercise. There are plenty on the internet that you can direct students to by simply searching for "The ant and the grasshopper".
Students read this then complete a partially written modernised version of this story which is actually about two shoppers, one conservative and sensible and one who is a spendthrift.
