After watching the part of the film where each character has to tell their sob story in order to win the brownie, the students have to write their own sob story to win "the prize". I expressed that the story is fictional and I would award the "prize" to the saddest story. The students really enjoyed this exercise and were all keen to win the chocolate I had brought to the class!
