Writing About Other Countries using Culturegrams Library resources
I use this with students in history as an activity for working on researching information and writing. Students spend two days looking up information from Culturegrams, a library web-based resource about countries of the world. Then I model the writing of an essay using this outline as a model. Students love the content and are able to use their ideas to write wonderful essays without banging their heads against the desk!
