Past simple tense and its uses. Learners practice the forms extensively through a variety of graded drills. The exercises tend to instill the "how" to use past simple in the learners´ mind plus describing the sequences or the "when" using it. They have to know the different description of each use to realize in which situation will they use them.
Then they practice the -affirmative, the negative and the interrogative, making stress on each one. At last I pointed out to make the difference in use between present perfect and past simple in case of confusion.
