Grace Is Gone _ Movie Writing Prompts
A few simple ideas to spark discussion/writing about this film using authentic materials in the form of movie reviews for this film (you supply those - easy to search and pull off the internet). This positions the author as the movie critic, so you can set up the parameters however you wish. You writers can critique on characters, acting, scenery, whatever... This is a compare/contrast exercise, but can be modified in several ways. The set up may include a discussion of what is critique and what does it mean to be a critical thinker -- and how that doesn´t just mean criticizing without basis.
