This handout may be used as a listening or reading comprehension. It is a very sweet story, one of Esope´s fables in fact. It has a lesson too which is that one should be very careful of flatters. It has very simple choose the right answer exercise which is recommended for listenings however it can be adapted for different levels and reading by altering the questions. The reading/ listening can be found on the second page. One can also record another voice so that students can hear a variety of accents and not just one. Enjoy!
