The children learn and do the movement related to the nursery rhyme: The wheels on the bus go round and round.... Additionally the teacher can introduce vocabulary related to the use of a bus for example: conductor, horn, wipers, tickets, wheels, people..., as well as every day imperatives: sit down/stand up, move along please. The grid at the bottom of the handout helps the children focus more on the rhyme and its vocabulary.
