English worksheet: Extempore Extempore

Hi guys, am back with a speaking activity :) :) So, this worksheet has 16 random topics for extempore (unprepared speech) You can get them printed off and laminated. It also has evaluation sheets for students. Procedure- I ask a student to pick a topic. Then i give him/her a minute to think and organize his ideas. Then i have him/her deliver a short speech (depending on their level, 2-3minutes). (No error correction here..) I fill in the evaluation sheet in the meanwhile. when their 3 minutes is up, I have other students give their feedback/opinion on how they liked it etc. Then I discuss the evaluation with the student and give them the sheet. And then ask another student. The process repeats for the rest of the class. If your students havenīt done an extempore before, tell them what it is, and what you would be looking out for (appropriate pauses, intonation, good vocabulary, body language, etc.-- see evaluation sheet) Some tips, and maybe a demonstration should make it easy to comprehend. Hope your students enjoy this. Please feel free to write to me if you have any suggestions to make. Happy teaching :) :)
