Origins "Fourteen Billion Years of Cosmic Evolution"
A packet of discussion questions written in order in the way the information was presented in the PBS/NOVA film "Origins: Fourteen Billion Years of Cosmic Evolution".
I´ve used this 2-disc DVD set to help my middle and high-school students piece together the timeline of events that took place in the construction of our planet, solar system, galaxy, and the universe. Neil DeGrasse Tyson narrates/hosts this fantastic DVD. He is a well-acclaimed astrophysicist that makes several appearances on the Science Channel, National Geographic, PBS, and many other scientific cable television affiliates. He is a also an accomplished author of many space-science books.
HIGHLY-RECOMMENDED to any teacher who teaches anything about space. It is good for introductory-level students all the way to advanced physics simply b/c of the volume of information and the ease in which it is presented to the viewers...
