Introduce a Book Character (or a classmate or a friend) Introduce a Book Character (or a classmate or a friend)

Another alternative book report! Students read a book and choose their favorite character. Then before writing: students match the question cards with the answer cards (as a whole class or pairwork activity) and put the question/answer cards in order according to the worksheet. (#1 = What is his/her name? His/her name is ____. And so on.) Then students write complete sentences (using the language from the cards) to describe the character from their book. If they donīt know some information, they should use their imagination - a characterīs bicycle is red, therefore his favorite color is red. After their worksheets are complete, students use the question cards and their answers to introduce their favorite book character to a classmate.
