This ws deals with the vocabulary and grammar of describing people using a topic young students like: their favourite star.
First there is an example of a description of a famous person
( Johnny Depp) for pupils to get famailiar again with the topic.
Then they have to write a description of their own star using the questions on page 3 of the minibook .
After that they work with a partner in a guessing game about the famous person they have chosen.
Finally they have to write a letter to their star and send it to the fanclub (they can look up the address on the Internet)
(An example of a letter is provided.)
Maybe it is a good idea to revise the vocabulary of description before doing the activities of this minibook.
