English worksheet: Adjectives Review & Activity Adjectives Review & Activity

This worksheet is intended for intermediate level ESL classes, although the activity itself is suitable for the beginner level as well. Students are prompted to brainstorm some 6 adjectives and then use these adjectives to describe people in 3 simple sentences (Ex: Mario has brown hair and is very short). Following this short review, students will form pairs and begin the activity. One partner makes a drawing of a silly-looking person/character that he/she DOES NOT show to his/her partner. This student then uses adjectives to describe the drawing while the partner does his/her best to recreate the drawing based solely on the verbal cues. The two drawings are compared, and the roles are reversed. This worksheet should take up nearly all of a 50-minute senior high school class.
