Letter Tracing and First-Letter Matching
This is a great, quick worksheet for young learners. First, the students need to trace over the letters, then match the pictures below to the first letter of the word. For example, this worksheet covers H, B, T, and A. So, first, the students trace a line of each letter, then they draw a line from the pictures below (hand, apple, bed, etc) to the proper first letter.
A good exercise for phonics, and familiarizing students with the alphabet sounds. Even if students donīt know the words, they can draw the lines after the teacher says the word for them.
