Students find it difficult to write poems but with guidance and scaffolding, they can. There are two levels for this worksheet - one for more able and another for less able students. Sample of descriptive words are included which can be cut into strips for both groups can be used in the initial discussion. Add pictures for students to match these with and you have a great starter. Do try it with intermediate students too. Itīs as complex as you make it.
