Everything is poetry
We had this activity while learning "Introduction to poetry" by Billy Collins. Actually, it can be used at any literature lesson, because the aim of activity is to expand students´ borders in understanding poetry, I wanted them to realize that poetry is not really a weird hobby, and everybody can find something in a poem to identify with. Before doing this worksheet I give students to listen to Collins reading his poem, and they get very surprised to learn he is alive - they are for some reasons sure that good poet is dead poet. :)
