Like Castanets Song by Bishop Allen
A fun song and worksheet introducing ´onomatopoeia´!!! Sorry about the blank spaces! I deleted the pictures because of size(one was of the band, bishop allen, and the other of the city of Santiago, Chile) My kids really enjoyed this song. This worksheet can take an hour and a half or more! Before giving out the worksheet I have them listen and tell me all the instruments they can hear, and write any words they could understand from the song, and how they music makes them feel. Then we do each part of the worksheet. As an extension activity you could have them write an onomatopoeia dialogue/skit or have them talk about how they would make the music video for this song!!
