English worksheet: Telephone game Telephone game

This conversation activity-card is very popular among my elementary students of all ages. It practises the very basic phone call conversation and basic questons, numbers, alphabet spelling and countries. You can use this sheet if you teach from 1 to 15 students. Students are given cards with taboos and they will be filling in what they hear. Students are given a paper with their "new identities". You pick any student to start. Student A calls any number on the sheet by reading the number. Student B (owner of this number) "picks up" the phone by repeating his/her number. Student A: Hello. What is your name? Student B: Hello, my name is ... Student A: Can you spell it, please? Student B: ---spelling name--- Student A: Where are you from? Student B: I am from... (possible to ask for spelling again) Student A: Thank you, bye. Student B: Bye. Then, same way, student B calls student C and so on until the taboo is filled in completely. Enjoy!
