Celebrity Interview Activity
This is a great way to practice questioning, conversation and helping those shy students break out from their quiet shells a bit!
Give students magazine cut-outs or print-outs of various types of celebrities - from politicians, to artists to athletes. People you know they´ll be interested in. Have them work in pairs to write an interview dialogue which they will present to the class. I suggest it could be nonesense, which really gets their creative juices flowing! Also, I set up a "CNN Interview Desk" complete with microphone and props, and they really got into presenting the activity to the rest of the class.
