Beatles Listening Activity
I am teaching English in Chile and I used this worksheet to help kids learn English listening skills. Worksheets are generally boring for my restless grade 7s so I tried to make it fun by using a slow Beatles tune. This worksheet was actually more successful than I thought - my students hate worksheets and writing in their notebooks but I got lots of positive feedback from my students...not to mention they actually stayed seated and didnīt talk while the song was playing. :)
I played the song once per exercise (except for number 1). I think repetition is very important - I know that for the last activity, the kids can get the answers from number 3 but I felt the repetition was needed. After completing all exercises, I got all my students to sing the song! :)
