I made this worksheet to help my students, preparing for FCE exam, revise frequently tested in the exam confusing words, like ECONOMIC vs ECONOMICAL, EFFICIENT vs EFFECTIVE, PRESERVE vs CONSERVE, BESIDE vs BESIDES, PURE vs CLEAN, CHANCE vs OPPORTUNITY, HARD vs HARDLY and some others. There is an overview followed by an exercise in which students should choose the correct word in a sentence. Teacherīs notes are provided. Hope you find it useful!
