English worksheet: Who is most responsible for her death? Who is most responsible for her death?

Lesson Aim: Using conditionals to have a discussion Warm up: Discuss an event that happened and discuss why it might have happened...eg, earthquake, price rises (try to check the students usage) 1. First brainstorm or teach conditional phraes eg: It could/couldnt have been, It might have beeen, It definitly wasnt... 2. Order these into order of likelyness 3. Start the story attched: This story has 5 characters and students have to chose one person that they think is most responsable and make their case...leading to a group discussion The story isnt hard, but can be hard to follow, so sometimes I use a picture to illustrate it. This is AMAZING for discussion and can often lead to lots of interesting conversations...enjoy
