Ben´s Song - Oxford Story lines 400 word vocabulary _ about 100 questions worksheet

I have prepared about 100 questions about BEN´S SONG, for those learning English at the beginning level, or for people with a bit more English who need some speaking and listening practice. Suggestions: Tell students to read this story and write answers before class. At the beginning of the class, pronounce some words, e.g., ransom, studio, etc. and the people´s names. Next, divide the students into pairs and ask them to retell the story in the third person. Next, ask them to tell the story in the first person (Katie). After this, put them in new pairs and give them the even and odd questions. Patrol the classroom to ensure the students are not looking at each other´s questions. This will help develop listening skills. This worked very well for me. At the end of class (depends on how much time you have), you can review answers to the questions. You could do this by asking students to write their answers on the blackboard or...
