Moving In Game
Game to learn the rooms in a house and the furniture.
Each player is moving into their new home. The aim of the game is to finish furnishing your home before the other players.
Each player has a house and a set of furniture.
The cards with directions are put in a stack in the middle. The younger player starts. Each player takes a card, reads the directions and says ‘I’m going to… to put the…’ then takes the corresponding card and puts it on their house. When a player takes a card with a question, he/she answers the question and can put down any piece of furniture in that room.
The game is over when everyone has furnished their house.
