This is a traditional Hungarian activity for rainy days. Give the worksheet to the students, then you or one of the students start saying the alphabet in your head until somebody says STOP. Then you must write a word to each of the categories beginning with that letter. E.g. England, El Paso, Edward, Evelyn, elderberry, eagle, elevator, Elvis. You can change the categories if you wish to make it more suitable for your learners
(e.g. food) Once somebody says that they have completed their sheet you start checking. According to the original rules you only get a point if no one wrote the same word for the given category but rules are made to be broken, so itīs up to you.
