The Monkey´s Paw Activity Worksheet
I used this activity worksheet as a Halloween lesson, in conjunction with showing "The Monkey´s Paw" video from YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XA0nO8e0BEc). Most of these activities use creative writing, which was a nice change! Since my students are intermediate level Japanese native speakers, there is some Japanese on the worksheets but it can be deleted, of course.
Activity 1: make an alternative ending for "The Monkey´s Paw."
Activity 2: Describe how Herbert would look aftr coming back from the dead using the special, "Halloween" adjectives.
Activity 3: Discuss whether people have free will or it´s all Fate.
Homework: What would you wish for and why?
