ADVANCED BUSINESS ENGLISH - WHAT MAKES AN EFFECTIVE LEADER (LEADERSHIP)
This is the next in my Business English series -- Because of the structure of the project I´m creating this for, this is in the form of 2 lesson plans that make up a 2-part unit. There´s homework between the first and second lessons, but this is certainly optional and easily omitted with little to no impact on the class. The activities here will easily cover two hours of class time, or you can pick and choose to cover a shorter time frame. Activities include: The introduction of the 6 Styles of Management, discussing them in cultural context; pair work for discussing/matching a list of aspects to the appropriate management style; and a role play/discussion of assorted scenarios. All are presented/discussed with the assumption of an intercultural workplace. I hope you like! Cheers from China -- Dee
