Product Innovation and Development
This is a conversation class for upper-intermediate to advanced students, based on a tam work activity, that may last for one to two hours, depending on how you structure it and the numbers of students you have.
You can start by asking them what they understand by product innovation. After they give their ideas, hand them the worksheets and have them read the Wikipedia definition. Work with the discussion questions for a few minutes. Then have them read the article you can give them some time to do it or read it together as a group (take some minutes to ask them about their favorite products on the list!) Now move to the main activity divide them in groups of 3 to 5 students and tell them they should develop, design, and present a new product or service to the class.
They have the article to inspire them and some vocabulary reference at the end of the worksheet. They are supposed to answer the questions and use them to prepare and present their products to the class.
This class is very flexible for you can choose how much time you want to spend on each activity and how long you want their presentations to be. I hope you enjoy it! Have fun! ^^
