Romantic Questions Reported Speech Romantic Questions Reported Speech

Teacher’s Instructions I do this with my 16/17-year-old students. Have each student pick a partner (or assign them). They have to ask each other these questions and record their partner’s answers. Then bring the whole class together again, ask one of the questions and have them tell you what their partner said. This allows them to practice reported speech. They will look at their notes and say “Marco said that....”. This kills a couple of birds with one stone. They are teenagers so they are reticent to talk allowed naturally BUT as they are talking about something that is always on their minds (boys or girls, depending on their sexual preference) AND they don´t actually tell THEIR opinions, they are telling someone else, they come out of their shell more.
