Loch Ness Monster - Speaking activities
This worksheet is a result of Frenchfrog´s plea for integrated skills. It is an adaptation of a chapter from an old ESL book called ´A Case for English´ which is no longer in print. I have completely changed the role cards and number of participants. It is a complete scenario where the class have to act out and deal with the problem of a monster coming out of a lake and terrorising a village. The outcome of the role play is entirely up to the participants - kill or keep the monster. There are complete teacher´s notes how to ´stage manage´ the class. It may seem complicated, but once the teacher is familiar with how it works, it actually stimulates conversation very well. enjoy
