Word Play
While this may look dull and disinteresting as there are no bells or whistles this collection of bad jokes has been a source a great deal of laughter in my classrooms in recent years. I tend to give one student the set up and another student the punchline and get them to go and find their partner in the class. They remain pairs for the rest of the class. Need to tell their joke to the other students and, if necessary, explain why the joke should be funny.
