									Aliens in the house
I use this worksheet as a revision of the family and the parts of the house. It can be adapted to work with possessive case, actions and descriptions of people too.
You don’t need too much time to prepare this activity, the only thing you need is to think of an interesting story about a creepy alien family that comes to your house and take possession of it.
1)	Tell your kids that you met an alien family and that they are all living in your house now.
2)	Introduce the names of all the members of the family. In my story, I presented “Lucy” first. I tell my children that I first came across with her and that she was the one who introduced the rest of the family to me. In this way I can also practice the possessive case. E.g.: Lucy’s mother is Kate.
3)	If you want you can include a short description of how they look like.
4)	As you present them, tell the kids which room is occupied by whom. Ask them to cut and glue the names in the correct room and to label each of them.
5)	As an extension, you can ask your kids to write down where each character is, or to imagine what they are doing now, etc.

Hope this plan can help! And don’t forget, the success of the plan is in how interesting your story is!

Have fun!
