Murder - Journalist and Inspector Activity Cards Murder - Journalist and Inspector Activity Cards

This set of activity cards is for 16 students. It was made for EFL-students. There are many other Murder games on the net, but most of them were too complicated for my students. So I reduced the task to asking simple past tense questions about names, place, time and way of being killed. First the students as journalists try to find their talking partner by asking for the correct inspector. Then they interview him for some information and fill it in their card. It is rather quickly done and could be repeated by giving the journalists an “inspector card” and the inspectors a “journalist card”. After the activity the students could report to the class or write a short news report, newspaper article... Talking material e.g.: What is the name...? When did he die? Where was he found? How was he killed?
