Harvest Stone Soup challenge worksheet

I used this challenge along side a lesson on Harvest with my KS1 pupils. We read the Story Stone soup and discussed the meaning of sharing. Get children to identify which vegetable is which. Talk about the things we can share with other people. They can label the pictures. Depending on ability pupils can write their own endings to the sentence beginning, ‘Sharing makes…’. More confident pupils can produce two sentences, one describing what life is like when no one shares, and one describing how sharing helps everyone to be happier.
