| | Pair Work Oral Activity
You can divide students in pairs and hand out 2 different texts. Text A is about a girl´s routine day and text B is about an especial day for the same girl; therefore, text A is written using the Present Simple tense and text B is written using the Present Continuous tense. You can ask students to read their texts and to tell their classmate what the text is about. Then, tell your students to do the activity where, using their classmate´s information, they have to complete some sentences. Finally, you can ask the whole class if they know why the two different tenses have been used. I think that it is a wonderful activity to practise present tenses! Hope you like it!!!
