types of animals lesson plan
This started off as someone else´s lesson plan. I used it again and again and kept on changing it and making it bigger as things worked for me. I truly have no idea where it came from. If you recognise it as yours or you know who wrote it. Please let me know so I can credit the writer.
The lesson is as much science and biology as English, and is a very teacher focussed lesson. The students have to listen and make notes, then use the work sheets to check understanding. And maybe do an Excel-based follow up.
My students have always loved it as it´s about animals, but it´s a lot of teacher talk. and hardly any student talk. But as with all lesson plans, I´m sure it can be added to to facilitate student talk time. If you do do that. Please re-share it!
