types of animals lesson plan
This started off as someone elseīs lesson plan. I used it again and again and kept on changing it and making it bigger as things worked for me. I truly have no idea where it came from. If you recognise it as yours or you know who wrote it. Please let me know so I can credit the writer.
The lesson is as much science and biology as English, and is a very teacher focussed lesson. The students have to listen and make notes, then use the work sheets to check understanding. And maybe do an Excel-based follow up.
My students have always loved it as itīs about animals, but itīs a lot of teacher talk. and hardly any student talk. But as with all lesson plans, Iīm sure it can be added to to facilitate student talk time. If you do do that. Please re-share it!
