A Reading full of suspense to be used with advanced ss. Naomi Uemura, a 37-year-old Japanese explorer spent eight weeks walking from Cape Columbia, northern Canada, to the North Pole. A team of dogs pulled his Eskimo sled. He covered 800 kilometres in minus 45 °C. weather, sometimes coming close to the limits of human endurance. I provided you with a series of varied comprehension questions + completing a summary with connectors + matching vocabulary exercises + writing exercise (writing a sort of similar situation with provided vocab.) I also added some teachers ´notes on the use of common with "less". Hope you´ll like it !
