Family card guessing game
Fun game after teaching vocabulary related to the theme family.
Suggestion: Join 3 groups of 4 pupils each around a table. Each team should have a spokesman/woman and it should be the pupil with more difficulties in English. Although the group might decide, inside the group what to say, the selected person is the only one who can provide a valid answer. The cards are faced down in the centre of the table. Someone from another team picks up a card and reads it to the opponent team. The team that needs to answer can see the card. Both teams need to know the answer. The Team who has to answer has only one chance to answer it. If it is correct he collects the points that are printed in the card. Pupils might decide the timing for the answer (for example 30 seconds). The team with more points wins. Points are a matter of luck as they are not chosen by the pupils.
