I made this worksheet for my students after watching the episode of Mr. Bean making a sandwich and after reading a recipe for a Breakfast roll.
THEN we recalled all possible food that can be useful in a sandwich, then we learnt the list of the useful verbs (like: cut, peel or put, spread) - and described the preparation process. Then students took at school all the ingredients and tools they needed to prepare their own invented sandwich in front of classmates, anyone prepared and described the steps of its own sandwich.
While they described the procedure, classmates ticked on the ingredients and tools they heard in order to do a class survey.
We voted for : Funniest Sandwich name; Best tasting Sandwich; best presentation.
GRAMMAR: a general review of countable and uncountable names; some, any, a lot of.
At the end we had a great party!!! Eating Sandwiches during break!!
