Speed Dating Role Play for Elementary to Intermediate
Put the chairs face to face.
1 We are going to do a speed dating activity. What is speed dating? Speed dating is basically the idea of having many single people in one room, men and women go from table to table to talk with each other at each table. The trick is that there is a time limit of four minutes. After each man or woman, you will have to move on.
2 Would you like to play the opposite sex?
3 Please write down 1-2 things that you think are the most important for a life partner in question forms. For example, are you a good listener? Are you hardworking? Do you think a man should be hardworking ?
4 Give out the role play cards. Ideally men for men, women for women.
5 Give out the forms. Write down the answers on the forms.
