This is a text I got from a friend by e-mail. It´s all kinds of funny things people said at the witness stand. It´s hillarious, but sts lower than advanced maybe won´t get all the jokes, so read through carefully before you use it in class. It´s a great twist on crime/court/law vocabulary, and the last page expands it into a worksheet which is not just reading, but some serious vocabulary development. Since satire and grotesque are a good approach to teenagers, highschoolers, even some adults - I really recommend this.
