Label the shapes
With this worksheet I work on shapes with my pupils. I let them time to complete the worksheet, for example in pairs, in order to know their previous knowledge about this content. After some minutes, I stick foam shapes (with different colours and eyes) on the blackboard and their corresponding word cards. Then, pupils in turns try to match each word card with its corresponding shape, making it more participative. At the end we correct it and, at the same time, they themselves correct their worksheet (I also like fostering pair evaluation).
