taboo type vocabulary game
This is a sheet of game cards for the popular word definition game "Taboo". There are 25 words,each identified by a letter so that the teacher can have a reference sheet to follow the activity. Rather than do as many words as possible in the set time, the idea here is to give each student one or two words and then give them a minute to work on their possible definition before going one by one around the class with, again, one minute to define the word to everyone. The other students write down the word they think it is and each correct word is one point. If the definer uses a taboo word they CAN continue, but they will lose a point from their final score.
