Octopusīs Garden Sing-Along
This worksheet is tailored toward oral communication-focused ESL classes of an intermediate level. If you prefer a different song be used, it is quite easy to switch out songs while keeping the original format.
The worksheet has four components: a short band biography with some challenging English, the song lyrics, some relevant vocabulary that the students can look up prior to singing, and a few simple discussion questions for after the song.
Obviously, you will need a means of playing the music. I have found it helpful to play the song twice, and there are certain programs (VLC Player is one, I believe) that allow you to slow down the music. Thank you for your interest!
