It is a simple gap-filling exercice to introduce Columbus Day .You may help them by giving them a word bank.Pupils like it because it isn´t too complicated .I use it afterwards as a reading exercice to revise phonology ( intonation , stressed syllables , short , long vowels and diphthongs ).
